What's the difference between all the different linking codes?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Read the detailed descriptions below for an explanation:
Image Page - This is the recommened linking code when you want to show
the image to other people (also see "Forum Link" & "HTML Link" below).
It has a few advantages over the "Direct Link"
method below as by using this link type, the people that view your image will
be taken to a direct page for that specific image where they can even rate
the image & also give comments on the image.
Direct Link - This is simply just a direct link to the image. Use this
method if you want the image to be displayed "in-page" such as on an ebay
auction or displayed on the actual forum page or webpage rather than a link to the image.
Forums - This is pre-formatted code for posting the image on a forum;
this will display the image "in-page" rather than linking to the image.
Forums 2 - This is just another method of doing the above as some forums
require different codes to display the image.
Forum Link - This is pre-formatted code for posting a link to the image
on a forum. Works exactly the same as the "Image Page" method but is already
formatted for posting on a forum.
Forum Thumb - Pre-formatted code that when used on a forum will display
a thumb of the image (a smaller version of the image) & if a user wants to see
the larger version of the image they can click on the thumb to be taken to the
image page where they will see the full size image & can also rate the image
and/or comment on the image.
HTML - This will display the image "in-page" on a web page/HTML Document.
HTML Link - Use this to place links to the image on a web page; works
just like the "Image Page" method but is already formatted for web pages.
HTML Thumb - Pre-formatted code that when used on a web page will display
a thumb of the image (a smaller version of the image) & if a user wants to see
the larger version of the image they can click on the thumb to be taken to the
image page where they will see the full size image & can also rate the image
and/or comment on the image.

My image(s) won't load or are
showing a different image than I expected!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are seeing a different image than you expected, here are some things
to look at:
If you are a free user, make sure you haven't reached your bandwidth limit; you can see
your monthly bandwidth usage on the right side of your account page.
Make sure if you are using Domain Restrict for the folder that
image is in - that you have put the domain you are trying
to display the image on in the Allowed Domains box.
Check your linking code again. Always make sure to copy & paste
the linking code directly from the linking codes box.
Consider where you are trying to display the image. If you are using the
image on a Web page, the URL of the image will need to go between
< > tags. The most common way for images to be displayed on forums is
by pasting the URL between [img][/img] or [image][/image]
tags.
Examples:
To display your image on a Web page, you would use code similar
to this:
<img src="http://www.imageurl.com/">
To display your image on forums you would use code similar
to this:
[img]http://www.imageurl.com/[/img]
OR
[image]http://www.imageurl.com/[/image]
Keep in mind that some forums may use a different way to
display images, and some forums disable image displaying.
The only way to show your image on forums that have image
displaying disabled is to link to it by pasting the image's
URL - without any [img][/img] tags - into your post. People
clicking the link will go to a page with your image on it.
To make sure you always have the correct link, always copy the
link from the linking code box.
If these solutions fail, please contact
us.
Help! People are linking to my
images, and I don't want them to!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are several things you can do to prevent this. If you're
a paid user, you can try using domain restrict to stop them.
To learn how to use domain restrict click here. A solution
which will work on all domains is to try renaming your images.
Eventually the person will become annoyed that they keep getting
broken links and will most likely stop linking to your images.
Keep in mind, however, that only paid users can rename images.

How do I find out my current space
and bandwidth usage?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you are logged into your account you will see all your
account stats on the right of the screen.
I just tried to upload an image
and it didn't work!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
First check to see if we support that type of image. We currently
support .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp & .swf files.
Next check that you have enough space to upload the image.
You can see how much space you have left by looking at the
account stats on the right side of the page when you are logged
into your main account centre.
Please note that just because it says you have space left
doesn't mean you can upload an image. Some images are bigger
files than others, so you will only be able to upload those
that fit within the space available in your account. If you
are still having trouble, please contact
us & mention any specific error messages you are getting.

I uploaded an image, but it ended
up in the wrong folder!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you upload images they will be stored in the folder you
were in when you clicked on one of the Upload Image links
under Account Management. So, if you were in the folder "My
Pics" and you clicked one of the upload links under Account
Management, the image would be uploaded to the "My Pics"
folder.

How do I upload more than one
image at a time?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Account Management section you will see three links
for uploading, each one specific to the number of images you
want to upload. Please note that free users cannot upload
more than one file at a time.
If I choose to use the upload
form for five or 10 images, do I have to upload the specified
amount?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
No! You can upload as few images as you want - just leave
the other areas blank.
How do I create folders?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Under your Account Management section there is a link to create
new folders. Keep in mind that when you make new folders they
will be created in the folder you are currently in. For example,
if you were in a folder called "My Pics" when you
clicked the Create New Folder link, you created a subfolder
in your "My Pics" folder. Free users cannot create
more than one folder.

How do I use Domain Restrict?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the domain restrict box enter one or several domains/URL's line by line;
these will be the only domains/URL's that will be allowed to show your images.
Examples:
domain.com
This setting would only allow your images to be shown on "domain.com" &
anywhere on "domain.com".
domain.com example.com
This setting would only allow your images to be shown on "domain.com" & also "example.com"
& anywhere on "domain.com" & "example.com".
www.domain.com
This setting would only allow your images to be shown on "www.domain.com";
simply images requested without the included "www." would get rejected.
cars.domain.com
This setting would only allow your images to be shown on the sub-domain "cars.domain.com";
any requests from the "domain.com" itself would get rejected.
www.domain.com/mypage/john/1234.html
This setting would only allow your images to be shown on the actual page located at
"www.domain.com/mypage/john/1234.html"; any other requests from the domain or anywhere else
would get rejected.
If you want to apply the settings to your whole account, use the domain restrict
box on the account settings page; if you want
to apply settings to just one folder, enter the appropriate folder & then click
on the "folder settings" link in your account management area.

How do I choose the number of
thumbs I want to see per page?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
To set a setting for your whole account, go to the account settings
page & choose the number you want there; this will also be your default value for new folders.
To set this number on a per-folder basis, enter the appropriate folder & click on the
"folder settings" link in your account management area.
Can you please explain how the "Linking Default Value" box works on the settings pages?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure! The setting you make here will be the default value that displays first when
when you click the "Linking Codes" button to get the linking codes for an image.
So, if you most commonly use the "Forums" linking codes, then set this box to
the "Forums" option & then this will be the first option displayed when you click the
"Linking Codes" link so that you don't need to scroll through all the different options
every time you want to get a link.
If you want to apply the settings to your whole account, use the linking deafult value box on
the account settings page; if you want to apply settings to just
one folder, enter the appropriate folder & then click on the "folder settings" link in your account management area

under each item & then click the "Delete Selected" link under your account management area.
