Do the images linking URL's reflect their folder location?

Heya guys, is the linking url of an image completely static no matter what, or will it change if you move it to a different folder, or change the name of the folder its currently in?

I was wondering because I wanted to re-organize my pictures a little bit, but I would rather not have to go back and put new url's in where I have linked to 'em.

The only way you would have any effect on your linking code would be if you renamed the image.. moving the image/folder it is in or renaming the folder it is in will have no effect on the image linking code & will continue working with it's current url.
