Hi Poker,

Currently Paypal is the only method of payment we accept; we're attempting to get credit card services built in, but at this time we're not sure when that will be.

For the time being my suggestion is to use Paypal's lost password feature to get a new password; then just click on the "upgrade" tab in the navigation menu & follow the links. Smiley

no one can pay with pay pal now days wihtout a credit card considering they changed their options, my husband had to pay with his credit card for my account in here through paypal (but he doesn't have a pay pal account) pay pal now days won't allow anyone to get a working account without a valid credit cardit's so fusterating for those who don't have a credit card! so in order to use pay pal you need a credit card anyway...I'm hoping that brett comes up with other means of payments since pay pal won't work for everyone now...(I mean I don't have a credit card but I do have pay pal account which I can't use because I can't get that account verified now because I don't have a credit card  :?  make sence to you?...) I'd like brett come up with a mail in method for payments it seems feezable to me for those who don't own that little annoying piece of plastic, he'll get more customers that way as well.

Hello lilaj378! You actually won't need a credit card to use a paypal account, all you need is a working bank account. Verifying your account is very simple, paypal will deposit in between 1 cent and 50 cents two separate times, then you simply have to tell them the amount and you're verified! I hope that helps!

lilaj378, with regards to mail in payments, because we are based in Australia that option isn't really feasable because of all the extra fees & clearing times that checks take.

Dear Mrs. White,

On 10/09/2005 I replied to the email message you sent regarding your PayPal
account regarding verification, please note that all members now have to get verified with two means
1. A credit card with a valid mailing address
2. An active bank account
both are part of the processess in getting your account verified without a credit card this won't happen you'll just have a un-verified account which is still able to process purchaces but not on the same scale as verified members.

As part of PayPal's commitment to excellence, I want to make sure I met your
needs in my response.  Would you please take a minute to answer a few questions
to let me know how I did?

Oh ps: aclay I did that 2 deposit trick pay pal has I am still un verified as I don't own a credit card. Brett knows this to as my husband paid for my account here (and I mailed him to to ask LOL) but I've tried to pay for other services (including image viper) mind you and all I get is the credit card page it won't allow me to purchase anything without a valid credit card or without a valid email addy to the business...so if members had the image viper email addy I guess that will work to in pay pal. as for processing fees..I don't know how much it costs to process cheques but I know money orders are cheap and the processing fees are free (as they are included in the cost of the money order which is charged to the person buying them)

no it won't I've tried that to and it really bites! pay pal HAD to go and change their rules and all us "new" customers now suffer for it. I think they should still have a mail in then for verification, like a form you have to fill out and send back if you don't have a mailing addy then I can see not being verified but this is rediculus! I can't "get" anything without a credit card and it's not very friendly to consumers

lilaj378, Yeah..... shopping on the internet without a credit card can be a very hard task... are you sure a debit card won't work? I personally have verified paypal accounts connected to debit cards, paypal can't tell the difference if they're credit or debit...

As for Paypal; I was also under the impression that being verified didn't really restict what you could do really.. as I have received payments from unverified members before; but I assume as you say they recently changed these rules?

I don't want to lose you as a customer so I'm going to see what I can do about getting more information on fees & charges on international money orders... I know international checks have a 30-day clearing time & have fees of about $10 - $16 AUD.

admin, are you Brett? LOL cause I can tell you now I know the exchange rates on money orders arn't paid by the company, they are paid by the consumer, I can get a money order for AUD and they can clear just as fast as a regular money order so the postal office claims here. if they say diffrent in Austraila let me know ok cause I LOVE image vipers service (thou things have been glichy the last 2 days :S...sorry rambling LOL) and if it keeps going well I planned on getting more room in my account, (cause if I keep making web banners like I have been and other things then I'm gonna need more room) it's just hubby hates paying anything with his credit card over the internet

LOL...

Lila, yup, "admin" = Brett.

Hrm... I thought that you only need to "verify" your paypal account if you want to recieve payments, not for sending them :?

BTW, nice looking site... If I ever happen to be in Nova Scotia with some kids, I will look you up

LOL viddy Cheesy thanks I love my daycare center not to mention the kids I look after Cheesy they are great...

and thanks Brett Cheesy glad to know the real name behind the nickname Cheesy
and thanks for trying, I asked Mike again (my hubby) if he would just use his card for image viper but he said no not again, once was enough (he's worried about being hacked it happened to his sister) as for the money orders I guess I could always send it in a month earlier so it clears on time. I just sooo don't want to lose my image server it's been a HUGE help and my own cable(internet provider only gives me 10 megs of space which BITES!) and I have to use an ftp uploader just to get my images on it...so image viper is the best by far.
